Do I need to be referred by my GP?

As a private client there is no need for a referral from your doctor.

If you are a claimant through health insurance, they may require you to be referred by your GP for your fees to be paid. Please check with your insurance provider before proceeding further.

Do you accept insurance claimants?

Please contact your insurance company to check with their requirements. At present we are registered with a few insurance providers (see registered insurances). If your insurance is not listed we will endeavor to support you as best as possible.

Is there any parking available?

Ample of free parking available on site and within less than 30 meters to the entrance door.

Is there accessible public transport?

Public pathway from the local bus stop, located on the B4224 main road is limited. Therefore, public transport by bus is not an advised form of travel.

It is then down a long stretch of driveway. The clinic will be visible, first building to the left from the carpark signposted ‘KTB Physiotherapy’. Currently there is a large open building with scaffolding directly opposite and carpark revamp is in due course.

PLEASE BE AWARE - the address includes the title ‘Rectory Road’ but unfortunately no access via this road.

Google maps are very accommodating in providing directions to the clinic. Type in 'KTB Physiotherapy' and select directions, the correct route should be made available directly to the entrance door.

What should I wear?

Please wear something comfortable, ideally clothing which is unrestrictive. If possible, it is advised during the initial assessment full access to areas needing assessing. This may require you to undress to your undergarments or shorts if needing to assess your legs and/or lower back. The physiotherapist will not ask if it is not necessary. We at KTB Physiotherapy will aim to accommodate to your privacy & culture.

Sports bras are less advised attire when particularly treating areas of the shoulders, neck, upper back or lower back, as it tends to restrict access without clasps.

Are there toilets available?

A unisex toilet is available on site and is wheelchair accessible.

Is the clinic wheelchair accessible?

At this present time, the clinic is in process of making relevant changes to enable wheelchair accessibility. At present the clinic is missing ramp access into clinic. If you have your own ramp and wish to use this then please bring it along.

Can a home visit be arranged?

Yes, we can arrange for home visits. Please be aware visits incur additional fees for the time it takes to travel, along with the travel cost.

Directions to the Clinic

Access to the clinic is made via the B4224 main road. Signposted ‘The Court’.
